Here is why forgiveness is so important.

From Jesus &Buddha

Forgiveness is the means of the Atonement.

Forgiveness is my only function here.

I let forgiveness rest upon all things, for thus will forgiveness be given me.

Forgiveness is the key to happiness.

Fear binds the world, forgiveness sets it free.

Forgiveness is my function as the light of the world.

The light of the world brings peace to every mind through my forgiveness.

Forgiveness offers everything I want.

Forgiveness let’s me know that minds are joined.

Forgiveness ends all suffering and loss.

Forgiveness is the only gift I give.

Forgiveness ends the dream of conflict here.

Without forgiveness, I will still be blind.

Forgiveness is the central theme that runs throughout salvation.

Also, when the Course describes the Holy Spirit’s plan, it talks about an interlocking chain of forgiveness.

Plus it says, ” He who would not forgive must judge, for he must justify his failure to forgive.

And, Forgiveness recognizes that what you thought your brother did to you has not occured. It does not pardon sins and make them real. It sees there was no sin . And in that view are all your sins forgiven.

That’s because of a very important law of the mind that the Course articulates:” As you see him you will see yourself. “

And it must be pretty important because it goes on to say: ” Never forget this, for in him you will find yourself or lose yourself.”

And that interlocking chain of events means that your forgiveness runs through all of your lifetimes and effects people that you don’t even know .

Without true forgiveness you’re just spinning your wheels .
